Lyman Orchards Golf Club is a 36-hole public golf facility in central Connecticut initially established in 1969 with the opening of the 18-hole Jones Course. A second 18-hole course designed by Gary Player opened in 1994.

MUNGEAM CORNISH GOLF DESIGN was engaged by the facility in 2008 to provide a Master Plan for improvements to the more popular Jones Course. The Master Plan process clearly identified improvements to bunkers and drainage as the most critical issues affecting player opinion of the course. Much of the course is located within the floodplain of the Coginchaug River and many of the back nine fairways were severely hindered by poor drainage. In the spring of 2009, a major renovation was overseen by MCGD that included the installation of over 7 miles of drainage pipe and the restoration of the Robert Trent Jones bunkers by contractor TDI Golf.
